Recently our members enjoyed a group outing to the first annual Wings over Golden Isles airshow in Brunswick Georgia. The group enjoyed touring the static displays as well the impressive show put on by gliders, paratroopers, aerobatic experts, and of course, the Blue Angels. We’ll be looking forward to it again next year! Want to join us at our next outing? Just join our mailing list for more information. We’ll be heading to Hunter Army Airfield and having a social night soon. Hope to see you there!
Our Treasurer has recently moved out of Georgia! If you’re interested in the position please let us know. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and stay involved. Please email SouthernWingsWAI@gmail.com for more information.

This month, WAI would like to shine a spotlight on their friends at the Coastal Empire Chapter of PAMA, Professional Aviation Maintenance Association! Their mission is to promote continuous improvement in aviation safety by enhancing professionalism and recognition of the Aviation Maintenance Technician through communication, education, representation and support. PAMA, in partnership with WAI, hosts monthly meetings at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Heritage Museum in Pooler, Georgia. These meetings always have a social period from 5:00 – 5:30 pm and then a speaker from 5:30-6:30. The meetings are open to everyone and dinner, refreshments, and door prizes are always provided! The speakers come from a wide range of backgrounds so keep your eye out! We’ll be posting the PAMA meeting information here monthly from now on. Want to know more about PAMA? Check out their website!
